There's a new folk club started on Sunday evenings at the Swan & Railway, Wallgate, Wigan (opp. North Western Rail Station), start time 9pm. The club room is non-smoking. No guests artistes, just a good old Singaround. All are welcome. And, no, it's not me that's running it, it's George Barlow. The name of the club is the "This Time Next Year" Folk Club, 'cos that's a favourite saying of George's. The first night was last Sunday, with very little publicity beforehand, so not many singers, but a good time was had by all. Would love to see any friends, old and new, for this new venture.
