Blues is not my thing (was a long time ago) so I don't have alot of info but for Blues in the Boston area you should try the House of Blues in Harvard Sq. in Cambridge. Check the Boston Globe Calendar section on Thrusdays, they have lots of listing including some blues jams. I'm sure you'll be hearing from some other locals here that are more up on the Blues than I am. By the way back in the 60's there were quite a few blues musicians from the Boston area that went off to play with Muddy Waters, BB King & others most have ended back in Boston. My sister recently went to a reunion of people a good bit were former players for some great people so you'll be in good company in Boston, since the 60's it's been a place of great music & musicians.
