Arnold Ziffle, the pig from "Green Acres". Try to carry on a normal conversation with the guy and all you get in return is "Snort, grumph, oink, whee!" And he's always knocking back catered swill and not even offering you any. The guy's a real pig.

But seriously... All the nationally or internationally famous people I've met have been musicians and they've all been quite nice. At least when they've been sober. There's a handful of well-known bluegrassers who've been know to get a snootful, stumble out of their tour buses, join in parking-lot jams, and promptly take them over. A fellow whose initials are J.M. comes to mind.

On the other hand, I've met a fair number of "locally famous" radio and television "personalities" and have found every one of them to be obnoxious. But, since I despise both television and commercial radio I may just be letting my prejudices show.
