Just terrible news. I only just started listening to his music, though I know his mother, Margaret's, singing well. As adied in the wool traditionalist, i just loved his music for it's inventiveness and sensitivity. His poor family: I heard one of his pieces on the radio to announce the news and I was devastated, I can't begin to think how they must feel. The only thing I can quote is the title of the music I heard... "Why?"
