13 live bands and 18 acoustic artists played;
Nobody could keep count of the numbers attending. Suffice it to say that there wasn't an inch of spare space, the pub was drunk entirely dry of Budvar pilsner, Strongbow cider, Lees Original (draught) lager, Moonshine bitter and probably several other lines. Quote from one of the bar staff at the end of the night: "Good Heavens ! I never knew the back of the fridge was that colour !"
Yours truly worked an eleven-hour shift, starting with cleaning and helping set up at 10:00 am, and finally collapsing in gibbering hysteria over a till at 9:00 pm. (I was supposed to clock off at 5:00 but another of the bar staff failed to turn up.) At the end of it someone did try to propel me in front of the mike for the acoustic acts in the downstairs bar, to cover for a missing act (who was still queueing for the gents' toilet). I managed to escape by feigning insanity.
