Everybody's having fun over at the "Favorite Car" thread goin' on about all the cool cars they had, wish they had, or just missed having. Well, the lemons are demanding equal time! What about Chevy Vegas, Ford Pintos, AMC Gremlins?

The worst car I ever owned was a 1961 Dodge Seneca with a slant six and three-on-a-tree. My '66 Dodge van had recently died, I didn't yet have the money to buy anything decent, and some old guy had this thing in his garage for $200. So, I bought it and brought it home to show my then-wife who took a walk around it, kicked a tire and said, "You're joking! Right?" We christened it "The Gritmobile" and drove it for a few months until we could afford a real car. My, but it was an ugly damned thing.
