Thread Name: BS: Your LEAST Favorite Car Ever...
Subject: RE: BS: Your LEAST Favorite Car Ever...
Any Pig-rot (Peagout, probably mis-spelled, like who cares), pick yer year of model... Junk right off the assembly line....
Vegas. Yeah, don't stick an aluminum nead on a cast iron block.
All the early GM furnaces (diesels) were junk. Blow the bottom ends (crankshafts) out in less than 40,00 miles and then once you put a new crank and bearings in them the Rosa Master injection pump would crap out on you. Maximum miles per unit: 50,000... then scrap iron...
Back to the French cars. The Borgwarg was a POS...
As were the Ford Cortinas's (English Fords).
The 1st Ford Falcons were junk. You had to adjust then valves every day to keep them runnin'...
But, hark, I LOVE'D THE FORD PINTO's... Yep, them cars would take a beatin'...
I also liked the "Unsafe At Any Speed" Corvair and owned a couple of them, too.
But back to the junk: the mid 70's Ford Fairmonts... Most of them fell apart before making it to the nd of the essembly line...
Not to mention:
Citreons: junk
Alfa Romeos: junk
Chevy Citations: junk plus
K-cars: junk plus plus...
...and the worst car ever made....
the No-go, opps, the Yugo. It was such junk that 10 years leater the United States bombed the heck out of the country that made 'um... Now that brings new meaning to the term "junk"....
