I had a '70 AMC Hornet...the Gremlin's big brother (the basic difference was that it had a real back seat). The window wiper motor went out going over Donner Pass in January. Great fun...driving with the window open in a blizzard, operating the wipers by hand. When I traded it in (on a '74 Toyota Corolla) the only operating door was the right rear. I climbed over the seat to get out, slammed the door, the window fell out, and I walked away without ever looking back.
