Chips !!! And all that fancy crap !!! I had an F150 with a straight six. You could work on it in the rain without getting wet because you could get in and close the hood while working on the engine. Nowadays my tool kit will just barely fit... in the credit card swiper ! If I park with the grill downhill, a vacuum in the gas tank triggers the "check engine" light and it won't go off until it is told to do so by a technician with a hand held diagnostic unit... at forty bucks a crack ! (All he did was take the gas cap off and put it back on. I refused pay. They are peeved.) I disconnected the f***ing light. Same for the ABS brake light. Funny that all of these lights started coming on after the warranty was up. Pre-programmed perhaps ?
