I just recently met someone local to me, and we had a long conversation about science fiction and folk music. I knew he was a writer, but had not read any of his books. I've since read one and enjoyed it very much.

That experience was sure different from being in so much awe of a famous person that I'm tongue-tied. I really kind of wish I didn't get that way. I love having conversations with people as people.
