Yeah Manning was always a pr1ck, I used to live in Newton Heath, not too far from the Embassy Club in Moston which he used to own.
My wife worked with a guy who's wife worked for the Inland Revenue, so maybe this is starting off wrong. Anyhow she dealt primarily with Artistes, she reckoned Manning was the worst person she ever had to deal with. He probably paid for being an asshole with her, let's hope so.
