Why spatulas? What about colanders, or salad tongs? (Bobert could tell you all about the latter.) I think that this is a flagrant act of favouritism toward a very minor piece of kitchen equipment.

Now, if they were talking chopping boards - that's different. Plastic, wooden, glass, marble - all sorts of shapes and sizes. An infinite variety to talk about......
