Oil pollutes air, land and sea so when you complain about the price of gas you are justifying the aggression of the U.S. oil companies and the pollution of our earth. Montreal is under a smog alert today (four months earlier than usual).

I've heard speculation that gas will reach $3.00 a gal. this summer.

When will people stop complaining about the price of gas and start demanding effecient, public transit? When will people start walking and riding bikes again? When will city planners stop making roads bigger and start building bikeways and pedestrian walkways? Not until people start calling for (and funding) a radical change in our system of transportation.
