daylia I think he may have found a happening area for young people on a budget, given that Kitsilano has become cost prohibitive. But the rejuvenation of that general area post-dates my personal knowledge, so I can't warrant anything. The main thing is that it is a long way from Hastings Street, where you need to worry about the crackheads. The general area has massive ethnic diversity, but segregated into neighborhoods. That's to get you started - hopefully someone will chime in with specific info. It MAY be a great location now, but I sure woudn't sign for it sight unseen. Good luck.
