WWAAAAaahhh!! (breaks down and sobs like a baby)!!

I spent my childhood in Abbotsbury mostly, can you see St Catherine's Chapel from where you are??

Have friends in Wyke who have what has got to be one of the best views of the island, with a grand view of the prison ship, although you have to know which one it is.... Watched the eclipse from there in Aug, pity about the cloud wasn't it, but we still got a really good look at the actual 'moment'.

Perhaps this explains why I woke at 3.30am with 'Linden Lea' and 'Poor little lambs who have lost their way' going off in my head....

If you go into the Ilchester Arms, in Abbotsbury, there's a picture of my grandfather in the back bar, and my aunt works in the kitchen there. Family have been there since 1814, the village, not the pub. Going to have a good sob over breakfast now..... waaaaahhh!!
