P.S. The one thing I missed most when I moved back home was Pacific Cinematheque Pacifique. Another Vancouver specialty is the Rafe Mair Show. Fortunately, a week's worth of this often stimulating radio program is streamed online. But we prefer to catch it on 600 am weekdays from 8:34 to 10:30 Pacific time. The rest of the day, the station plays fine old songs. (That's where my 6-year-old learned to love Tennessee Ernie Ford in Sixteen Tons.)
