having recently spent a couple of days there, I'd say it's worth going to Clonakilty, Co Cork, Ireland most any time. There are Tues night sessions at O'Donovans hotel and several pubs hold sessions and gigs, traditional and modern music

also there are plenty of beaches nearby, and the brambles had blossoms in late Dec
