Never been to the Cove, spent my wild and reckless youth in either the Three Compasses, Charminster (stagger round the corner and home....), The New Inn, Cerne Abbas, used to work there, the Royal Oak, Dorchester - until they got rid of the barman whose nickname was 'Superbum'.... and then the White Hart,Dorchester, where there was an opera singing landlord and the best pint of Tanglefoot ever kept.... WAAAAaaaaahhhhh!! another bout of BDASLAB!!

Weymouth pubs that I frequented were few, although we did use the Terminus a lot, even after it became the Giant Pot. I can't say I remember drinking much on Portland, although we did have a wake in one of the pubs in Fortuneswell, can't remember who died, let alone how I got home.....!

Have a pint of something with a badger on it for me!!
