I can still recall college "piano lab". I can even remember the dream of being on stage and suddenly realizing I couldn't play piano :0
Perhaps a touch of dyslexia always made sight reading tough. Having the ability to play what I heard ,sometimes almost ;) instaneously, filled in the gaps.
