It's always a worry isn't when you have to travel and you want your guitar with you. I purchased a guitar in England last year on my travels and for ease of handling and carrying I only purchased a gig bag, although it was well padded and at the better end of the range. That guitar travelled with me in general baggage from the UK to Canada, Canada to LA, LA to Australia and not a scratch. The only concession was that I wrapped the actual guitar in bubblewrap before I placed it into the gig bag. So miracles do happen I suppose.Regards Grubby
