The project was totally self-financed by the artist. The people who have been shown on television appear to enjoy them. I think that's great!

An argument could be made, I suppose, that the twenty million or so it cost to mount the show could have been put to better use, but then the money belongs to the person exhibiting. He should spend it as he/she wants to.
