I am a tune person so no matter the words if it is not embedded in a good tune I won't have the faintest idea what it is about unless I read the words somewhere -- good example I think is one of Burn's..my heart's in the highlands..great words but the tune I heard was so disappointing...I don't think emotions have to be overly involved either..how emotional do you get about who threw the overalls in Mrs. Murphy's chowder? But it still must be a great song because we keep singing it..mg
