The Gartan Mother's Lullaby is truly lovely. Is the tune used for anything else you know, perhaps something with a sound clip already in the DT?

Note to Dick, since you have asked for sources, whenever possible, add this belated annotation to the "All Through The Night" variant that started this thread. These lyrics are attributed to Florence Hoare in a collection called, I think, Folksongs of The British Isles. Just stumbled on it, yesterday, in our local Bluegrass store. Learned the verses long ago, without notes.
