Amos, I always send a thank you note by email within 24 hours after the interview. It's de rigeur according to many sources on the Internet. This time, however, the interviewer responded with an email to me -- a first in my experience. He said, "We'll be talking to you." At first I was excited, but then I remembered something. When I go out on a date with someone for the first time, he almost always ends the date by saying, "I'll give you a call" or "I'll be talking to you." That means only one thing: his voice is working. I'm kind of jaded.

If Jacqui keeps her fingers crossed for both of us, maybe we really will have good luck. I hope so.
