These Boy/Girl "Bands" (how in hell's name they can be "Bands" when all they do is dance and mime is totally beyond my comprehension!), rappers and so-called 'R&B' performers that clog up the airwaves nowadays should prostrate themselves at Joe's feet and beg God to give them 1 percent of Joe's talent. Joe is a hugely talented guy and I for one am proud of the fine musical legacy he's given us in the UK - not only in terms of his own brilliant and versatile performances, but in the form of his lovely daughter Sam (one of the finest voices in the UK - all aspiring girl singers should take her as a model), and of course in the memory of his late wife Vicki, a wonderful singer herself whose talents were never recognised properly here but who was held in the highest regard by audiences in Europe).

Joe was one of the great pioneers of the UK Rock 'n' Roll movement and, along with others like Brian (Hank B.) Marvin, inspired thousands of youngsters (and yes, I was one of them) to pick up a strange and little-known (at that time) instrument called a guitar and start making music.

If you've never seen Joe in live performance you absolutely MUST, as soon as possible - none of us are getting any younger! Joe is the epitome of that far-too-often-used word 'Star' - don't miss him.
