I read that book "Accordion Crimes" too. It warped my mind completely and I won't be satisfied til I have a good squeezebox to keep me warm on cold nites.

It really is a great bunch of stories. Another one is "The Kingdom of Zydeco". Loads of stuff in there about Clifton Chenier and the ones who came before and after him. He effected people like Elvis did. Powerful, wildass, music.
