Wyo. About 3 months ago a couple of wonderful women I know said they were going to start an accapella choir here in Toronto. They would sing traditional and contemporary music, and would not shy away from controversial songs pertaining to social issues. They knew I was too busy but asked if Heather would be interested in joining. I relayed it to her but she deferred on the grounds that she can't carry a tune in a bucket!
It sounded like a very ambitious project, that would involve a lot of time, patience and planning, but my friends did the work and this week I heard that they're doing their first concert! I'm so proud. 70 voices (and they're still looking for folks) at their debut. (which I'm going to have to miss) Heather's going (it's this Wednesday) so I'll have here throw a report back at you.
Dont worry 'bout Garg, he's so over the top now, most are just laughing.
