I seem to remember I liked Victory when I was into Conrad. Also under Western Eyes.

Didn't really go a bomb on The Secret Agent. I've often wished to catch up with Bob Hoskins film of it though. didn't like the one about the south american revolutions. Love the name Josh MacWhirr - it sounds really scottish.
