It is so easy to ridicule anyones beliefs or lifestyles if we are so minded. The question is...if we ridicule something that is the truth,
where does the true ridicule lie?. 2 Timothy 3v16 states that all scripture is God breathed or God inspired, depending on translation.
It also goes on to describe the ways in which scripture is useful.
If you have not studied the scriptures, particularly the Gospels...how can you be in a position to judge or even understand the following of those who have.
Dewey may well be right in his understanding that the anti-Christ is alive on mother earth...according to some apostolised Christians the anti-Christ is here! If that is so then who is in jeopardy...why Christians of course, as we will be persecuted ( as predicted in scripture). All those who do not believe will get a free ride with no problems and with satan at the helm.
You may have your own set of beliefs but would you die for what you believe? True Christians will!
Many of the things predicted in scripture are coming to fruition here on earth...please take the time to study the New Testament through to Revelation and see for yourself.
No I am not trying to convert anyone..I don't have the power to do that...but I do have the power to relate to you a need to search for and hopefully find a truth which may be Gods or your own.
You have choices but please don't ignore the ones you have because you can't be bothered. By researching you may discover things you have never realised in your framework of life.
Perhaps it is Deweys "sense of caring for and loving his neighbour" that has made him start this thread...can you really knock him for that?. Even if you think he is misguided......
