I know quite a few people who consider themselves "true" Christians, and yet belong to different factions of Christianity who hold such differing viewpoints and ideas about what is right, that their differences within their one faith make the differences between other faiths pale in comparison.

It's funny how someone professing to hold Christ as his own personal saviour can draw in allies from others who vow the same, no matter what views they hold. But unless you publicly make the same vow, your opinions don't count for much with them. I prefer to let the heart and mind the Maker gave me find my way through life, not some lunatic fringe website. If you've found a way that works for you, I rejoice for you. But don't assume you know what's best for me. And save your pontificating; you've got the same two eyes, ears and lobes of grey matter I do. You no more have a monopoly on truth than I do. That's the way I feel. No offense meant, however that comes across.

But our friend Dewey rambles like a lunatic on a streetcorner. Read his posts, He's all over the place. Pardon me if I don't throw in with him and hide out in my bomb shelter from The Beast. If he isn't the mayor of Crazy Town, he's certainly living in the suburbs.
