For around $25.00 you can get software which converts MIDI to WAV 'on-the-fly' - and you can download a demo version which may be enough to do what you need... here.

The demo version only allows 10 second clips to be saved, but there are ways around that. The quality of the results is dependant upon the quality of your sound card, of course.
