I'm going to 'fess up about this thread. I was the guest who started it way back when I first encountered the Mudcat and, A.) didn't know if the locals were the biting sort, and B.) I was pretty embarassed that I didn't know who Hunter S. Thompson was.

I'm glad I started it though, because I've really enjoyed learning about Hunter S. Thompson. I'm glad he was here, and I'm sorry he left.
