No luck with actually locating the lyrics, but the search I did suggests that it's 'Two Hoboes' written by Dick Weissman and Lawrence Gellert, recorded by Judy Roderick on Woman Blue (Vanguard), published by Ludlow Music.

Although the song is credited to Weissman / Gellert (BMI) the song was actually collected by Lawrence Gellert, but the lyrics aren't included in his (1936) Negro Songs of Protest.
