Does the tune at least begin like the German drinking song, In Muenchen Steht ein Hofbrauhaus? I remember a Hi lee, hi lo song that started out that way, out of the dim, dead past beyond rememb'ring.

The "hi lee" occupies the notes of "In Muen-", and "hi lo" is to the notes of "-chen Steht".   

That's as much as I can dredge out of memory.
