As with all other recent wars in the middle East...we seem to be guided by "the powers that be" into believing it necessary, both by statements on TV and the press. We know these things can be manipulated and all have opinions on the whys and wherefores. I believe there are other ways than war of bringing peace to the world and know it is done with some countries by negotiation and sanction.
One has to question whether coal,oil and other natural resources play a major part in decisions to go to war...what do Syria have?.
As with Iraq..we will have to wait and see because in spite of what we call democracy, we don't make the decisions do we.
