Perhaps we should defer judgement in this case! I believe the majority in Lebanon are Sunni muslims; what would a genuinely democratic election throw up?The present anti Syrian demos are being held by a minority of the populace. Unless a sunni boycott of any election is engineered, the result may not be what most of the world would like to see.
