I'm for that too, Martin. :-) What a brilliant marketing notion with which to sell an election to a jaded and cynical public!

It would be fair, because both parties would face the disadvantage of running a woman in a country that's never had a female chief executive. It would make the Republicans and the Democrats BOTH look "liberated and progressive" at the same time, FOR running a woman. It would give fits to men who can't imagine having a woman president. And it would be a truly UGLY spectacle! What more could one ask for? ;-)
