Oooh! I've just found this thread!!!

I've been raving over on the Radio 2 board about The Duncan McFarlane Band recently! I've got their 'Woodshed Boys' CD and I'm completely addicted! ;0)

I've also got Duncan's solo 'Bed of Straw'CD, the title song of which I can't stop singing....even the kids are going around saying "Rally round..come listen to me!"

Personally John....I'd have to say that the DMcF Band are MUCH better looking than those Corrs Girlies! Honestly...you Boysies! ;0) We watched their Dublin concert the other day...The Corrs, not Duncan! ....the place was filled with tens of thousands of people and about 90% of them were Boysies! Well!!! And Andrea Corr was flirting with EVERY SINGLE one of them. Never seen so many Ecstatic Boysies in one place! The power of a woman....to be able to hold so many Boys in her hand like that! ;0)

Well....I'm off to listen to Canadee-i-o now, my favourite 'Woodshed Boys' track...and try to work out how I can move The West Country closer to Leeds so that I can see Duncan's band live one day!

By the way....John...went over to Julie Ellison's site yeterday, at last!, and was really impressed with her voice. Beautiful...on a parr with Angie Palmer....and you know what Angie Palmer did to me!! ;0) Will go and tell those Radio 2 Mizzies all about her shortly!
