I love pottery and ceramics. Several years ago, a potter custom-made jars for flour and sugar for my kitchen. They hold a complete package at one go, they have strong, strappy handles so I can tip them, and they have big, cork tops so I will never have a jar with a broken lid.

Eat your hearts out, those who think that luxury consists of a Jacuzzi or a McMansion!

Don't even get me started on the hand-built piece that holds the Lapsang Souchong.
