Sonnet 26/02/04                      DCCCLXXXVI

Where does my muse run off to? Does she flee,
Or chase after the spirits of the spring?
Can she winter drive out, and let there be
Another season, of new beginning ?
And might I follow flowers upon path,
Bright footprints left behind, to show the way
She spun her magic? In them I find math
To number joys, though I at distance stay.
Dare I dream to chase her? Does my heart need
To know more than it does? What do I seek,
In all my effort? I already read
Enough to know that soul to soul dreams speak.
I wait: If time would ever make her mine,
I must wait for my muse to give the sign.
