My last shag? Well, as it happens, it was right here in this house. When I signed the papers the first thing we did was have the contractor pull out the 25-year-old rusty orange shag in the back bedrooms. It was original to the house, and was astonishingly ugly. Now the floors have tile that (ahem) I laid myself.
