Thread Name: Songbooks: The Pooh Song Book:pub. data
Subject: The Pooh Song Book:pub. data
I thought I'd start a new thread for this, so folks interested in it didn't have to wait several hours for all those color Disney Pooh images in the old thread to load in order to read this...

The Pooh Song Book, containing "The Hums of Pooh", "The King's Breakfast" and "Fourteen Songs from When We Were Very Young"
words by A.A. Milne, music by H. Fraser-Simson, decorations by E.H. Shepard
A Godine Storyteller
© 1985 David R. Godine, Publisher, Inc.
306 Dartmouth Street, Boston MA 02116
reprinted by arrangement with the Trustees of the Pooh Properties and the publisher, E.P Dutton, Inc (orig. pub. date 1961)
ISBN 0-87923-557-8
Contains 17 of Pooh's Hums, The King's Breakfast and Feed My Cow (and a scholarly discussion by Mr. Milne of why there wasn't any butter, why the cow went to sleep at breakfast time, and the appropriate technique for singing the two songs) and the 14 songs from When We Were Very Young.
Unfortunately, "The Trustees of the Pooh Properties" sold all the rights to Winnie the Pooh, E.H. Shepard's illustrations, etc. to the Disney MegaCorp, so this paperback book is now out-of-print. You can try looking for copies of it or the 1961 hardcover edition in used bookstores, or have Amazon.com do a search for it. It originally cost me a whole $8.95 from a museum catalog...
