My partner has taken to hanging out day after day with an old girl friend of mine. She even likes my dog more than me. I do all the cooking and housework, she has never pushed the Hoover, and can't even figure out how to operate the cooker.
I do all the work while they hang around the charity shops; if we go out it's always as a threesome, and now she wants to take this woman on holiday with us. I like the woman, but, there is a difference between affection and adhesion.( To quote Andy Capp)
