Climatically - the earth has been experiencing what passes as a 'sunny-day' in geological time. This unusually calm 'blip' has enabled (in the last 32,000 years or so) the human parasite - that scurries self-importantly across the surface of the planet - to develop ideas 'above their station'. We get a few 'wake-up' calls from time to time - but we still don't really get the full message.
