In its defence..... Mediaring does not rate well for chatting... but is still the best I have found for using the voicemail to record messages, and send them..

Yes, Netmeeting does have it's share of sickos, but you have the option of not being in the directory.. therefore the sickos don't know that you are actually there, and you only contact the people you know.

I use it in conjunction with ICQ..... (I'll teach you Kendall if you get it installed), so you don't need phone numbers you can contact the other ICQ-ers on your list using ISP numbers. That way I already know the people I'm going to chat too.....

If you use the privacy features on most of these chat rooms type things you shouldn't have much trouble.....
