years ago i got too fed up with being one of natures neurotic perfectionists
who rarely completed anything
..because of the obessive need
for self editing and perpetual over-precise re-drafting..

..eg.. 1 unfinished MA dissertation at a London college
that wisely refused me any more extended deadlines to hand it in..

so after learning that harsh lesson..
and thanks to a self prescribed lengthy rehabilitation regime
of strong european lager and english farmhouse ciders
i eventually managed to loosen up, stop caring about detail,
[or much else for that matter]

and accept that i too could say..


" f*ck it.. thats good enough.. it'll do..
i can't be arsed putting any more efort into it anymore..!!! "

innit great being middle aged and not giving a sh*t about anything
unless its truly life or death' important anymore...


yeah.. and also no more delayed entrances on stage because of
obsessive compulsive pre-gig perfect guitar tuning...
