It's an age-old thing: if no one starts it, then no one has to finish it. You are entitled to your religious beliefs; equally, you are entitled to keep them to yourself.
I believe in God. Not Christianity, but God. BillD has never been rude to me about that. He is aware that I believe because I believe, and that's that. Many times he has argued with me and never once has he been at all offensive. I know he thinks I'm out to lunch--that I cannot 'prove' the existence of the God I believe in--and maybe he knows too that I feel he's misguided with his 'lack' of belief in God. However, despite him being a smarter guy than I will ever be, and despite him being able to chew me up in an argument that has to do with logic or philosophy, he has never once done so in a manner that is less than scholarly or considerate. Many people here (most, if not all) respect BillD for his intelligence, wit and kindness. Please remember that the next time you decide to slag him. You won't find too many people to agree with you. Sure as there is a God, I won't.
