Hi there

Following on from the success of last autumn's music day at the Falcon Hotel, Godreaman (nr Aberdare), there'll be a third informal gathering of like-minded musicians for a session/sessions (Welsh/English/Continental/Come what may...) on Saturday, 26th March 2005, from about 1pm and on into the night. Yes, we know that's Easter Saturday, and apologies for the unfortunate clash with Miskin @ Easter, but it is Elwyn's 81st birthday and he's planning an exceptional range of 20+ real ales, plus imported continental beers, to be available all weekend, and we wouldn't want to let him down, now would we?

For those who don't know the Falcon, it's a quaint, idiosyncratic, family-friendly, out-of-the-way place with a glazed verandah and patio, in a wooded valley off the Cynon, with as friendly a welcome from mine host Elwyn Samuel and family as you could ever wish for.

Please do come along, bring an instrument and tell a friend. The verandah's acoustics are also just asking for a singaround, whilst the riverside patio's the perfect spot for a dance display or a knees-up!
