Liz - I lost stuff twice last year - the first a big crash, the second ONLY the change from a PC laptop to a Mac & most of that stuff will come back when my personal help desk can get on to it.We are so reliant on these mechanical/electronic slaves (oops masters) that when something goes wrong we are stuffed.
