First time in 20something years I did not gig! I'm visiting my kids in California, & we visited a couple of noisy pubs with pretty good "folk singers" and then went in search of food & ended up in an Italian eatery (I never really cared for corned beef or cabbage anyways) where there were some kids passing by with fiddle & guitar, so I had my kid get my whistles out of my trunk & we had quite an interesting session. The young instrumentalists learned several tunes & songs which I ended up writing out for them on the backs of paper placemats compliments of the management. The manager gave us free deserts & we all had lots of fun!
